🔒 6-Month Redemption Window: What It Means
Once your CME Trail purchase is complete, you'll receive an email 30 days after purchase inviting you to choose your gift card option—Visa, Amazon, Zelle, or another provider.
From the moment of purchase, you have 6 months to redeem your gift card.
- If you redeem it within 6 months, the funds are yours—no expiration. (Note: redemption means actually click the link in the email to claim the gift; NOT spend the funds).
- If you don’t click the redeem link within 6 months, the funds will expire and cannot be recovered.
✅ Pro Tip: Set a reminder to redeem your card as soon as you're eligible—it only takes a minute.
⏳ After Redemption: No Expiration on Funds
Once you’ve claimed your card, the funds do not expire. Here's what that means for each type:
Visa/Mastercard Gift Card
- Use online or in-store, anywhere Visa/Mastercard is accepted
- Physical and virtual options available
- Funds remain usable even if the physical card expires (you can request a replacement)
Amazon Gift Card
- No expiration once added to your Amazon account
- Can be used for any product or service on Amazon.com
Zelle Transfer
- Direct deposit into your bank account
- Once complete, it’s yours—no expiration, no restrictions
✅ Bottom Line: As long as you redeem within 6 months, you're in full control of when and how you use your reward.
💡 Why This Policy Exists
CME Trail’s gift card program is built to be flexible; however, these gift card policies are set by our gift card vendor - Perfect Gift. We won’t have the ability to recover funds in the event a gift card hasn’t been redeemed within the 6 month window.

Final Tip:
Your reward is part of your CME experience—don’t leave it behind.
